At the Health Daycare “Sonnenblume,” we design the day in a nature-oriented, experience-based, and health-promoting way. Our children are outdoors in all kinds of weather if they wish. Special rules apply only in extreme weather conditions such as storms or thunderstorms.
We regularly offer health-promoting activities, such as physical exercises and games. Individual projects, for example “Staying Healthy! – Personal Hygiene,” address health topics in an age-appropriate way.
The children’s emotional health is also very important to us. By alternating between activity and relaxation, we promote well-being and balance. That is why we place great importance on a midday rest period, which is designed differently depending on the children’s age. In the summer months, the rest period can even take place under our pavilion in the outdoor area.
Our large outdoor area features a herb and vegetable garden, allowing children to observe how fresh food moves from the garden to the table. Daily lunch is freshly prepared and delivered. Drinks are available at all times in sufficient quantities.
Since 2024, our daycare has been participating in the health initiative by DAK-Gesundheit and the fit4future foundation “fit4future”.
