Since 2023, our kindergarten has been participating in the Landesprogramm „Kita-Sprachförderung” in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. This program builds on the initiative „Sprach-Kitas: Weil Sprache der Schlüssel zur Welt ist“ by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (2017–2022), in which we also participated.

Language is the key to equal educational opportunities for all children from the very beginning. By participating in the state program, we can provide additional resources to specifically support our children in everyday language development.

An additional specialist with qualifications in language acquisition and support our educational work and provides process-oriented language support for the children. As a participating kindergarten, we also benefit from networking with other language-focused daycares and from extensive practical materials that enrich our work.
